影片的开始却并不像一般的惊悚片，而是随着剧情的深入一点点带入惊悚的气氛。随后影片进入老套惊悚片套路，我就不说你能从这片子里看到多少经典惊悚片的影子了，于是这部片子就在惊悚片，科幻阴谋剧，超自然神话之间不断变化，以至于最后它变成了讽刺剧而收场。在我们看完了血浆，僵尸，贞子以及各种各样的怪物之后，影片更要让人们思考的是：我们为什么爱看惊悚片？我们为什么会制造这么多怪物和鬼怪神话去满足这种欲望？为什么全球各种文化中都有这种故事？这些故事为什么会有一致性？是因为我们对未知事物的恐惧还是对于生命的留恋，还是因为人类残存的阴暗面（屠杀，偷窥），亦或是因为我们仅仅想发泄生活中的种种不满（恐怖片中的贱人们往往死的最早也最惨，而现实中他们往往得志）。
