主要从事高分子化学的研究。近5年在国内外学术刊物上共发表论文约100篇，其中SCI收录70余篇，2000年获上海市科技进步二等奖。现为中国化学会高分子专业委员会委员，中国化学会应用化学专业委员会委员，上海市化学化工学会理事。1999年和2000年分别担任99全国高分子学术论文报告会和国际聚合物加工学会第十六届年会秘书长。2001年入选教育部跨世纪人才基金，1995年和1999年获上海市高校优秀青年教师。
